Invest Somerset Digital Showcase event

Held at the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation, the Invest Somerset Digital Showcase event was to share Somerset Council’s Economic Prosperity Strategy 2025-2045, and to have various local organisations and businesses take part in panel discussions and present workshops.

The video includes a short interview with Councillor David Woan, Somerset Council Associate Lead Member for Business Partnerships. He summarises the strategy and goals. He also says how the region is open for investment and how important digital, data, AI and the power to sustain running new data centres are vital.

The new managing director of Evo Agency shared their success story and how they are giving back in the for on the Evo Academy.

In the video, Dan Pritchard quickly explained what Tech South West is and Colin Dart from Exeter University/Exeter Innovation covered the Somerset Innovation Hub.
